Today, using a hacked iron, a water bath, and a small metal container I melted the bio-plastic without much fuss. The process took about 120 minutes to get from solid to liquid. Although the plastic is pliable, it is very viscous (quite like cool honey) I am not sure if it is pumpable. This is an important problem to resolve, since the process that I am trying to create requires first melting the plastic, then pumping it into a mould and leaving it to cool, before being reheated on the top surface and pushed up against the pre-existing plastic tube. I should repeat the experiment with some of the beeswax that I have.
